Cedar Crest Village is a gated facility, located between mountain peaks in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, about 20 minutes south of the New York border, and 35 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. It is one of 19 CCRCs (continuing care retirement communities) managed by Erickson in ten states. There are two other Erickson communities in New Jersey - Seabrook in Tinton Falls, and Lantern Hill in New Providence (opening in early 2016). Cedar Crest is by far the largest CCRC in New Jersey, with about 1,500 apartments and 1,900 residents. The campus is more than a half mile in length. See the Google satellite view.
